Our mission is to create a better tomorrow for mountain communities such as Lincoln, NH where we are based.
One way we accomplish our mission is by giving away 5% of every sale to community and environmental efforts in the greater White Mountains region. In 2022, we made contributions to 13 organizations in our community. None of these contributions would have been possible without the amazing people who volunteer their time and resources to these organizations. Read on to learn a little about each of the organizations we contributed to in 2022.
Headquartered at Loon Mountain, right down the street from our Lincoln studio, NEDS provides adaptive sports instruction to adults and children with physical and cognitive disabilities. Burgeon's VP of Sales, Delia Sullivan, is a volunteer coach at NEDS.
GOA aims to strengthen New Hampshire's outdoor recreation economy by connecting individuals, businesses, and the outdoors through networking events, policy development, sustainability, and community.
LinWood Recreation holds and promotes a variety of community and outdoors-related activities and events in the Lincoln and Woodstock communities in an effort to connect people and encourage outdoor recreation.
Friends of Tuckerman Ravine seeks to preserve and protect the unique alpine and sub-alpine eastern slopes of Mount Washington. In 2022, we sponsored the 21st Annual Tuckerman Inferno, an epic pentathlon that takes place on Mount Washington's Tuckerman Ravine.
Loon Mountain Ministry's mission is to "Love God. Serve community. Enjoy Mountains." They hold non-denominational services at both Encore Thrift and Coffee as well as on Loon Mountain.
The LinWood Rotary is a club of passionate community leaders who work to bring the community together through fundraisers, projects, and events to serve the greater Lincoln-Woodstock community.
We sponsored this year's Top Notch Triathlon in Franconia, NH. The event benefitted the Town of Franconia Recreation. Top Notch competitors raced through Franconia, up and down Cannon Mountain, and across Echo Lake in the blistering summer heat.
Through the friendly competition of skiing and ski racing, Franconia Ski Club aims to provide children with lifelong lessons as well as the joys of skiing in New England.
The Bridge Project originally began as a Rotary Club initiative before developing into its own non-profit organization. The organization connects community members with individual and group support networks. The Bridge Project focuses on assisting at-risk individuals struggling with addiction, mental health, and poverty, as well as other difficult life circumstances.
Made in memory of Navy Veteran Jeff Ingalls, Veteran's Rest Stop serves as a location for veterans in need of help. VRS assists veterans dealing with mental health, homelessness, addiction, PTSD, and poverty.
Pemigewasset Valley Search and Rescue
PemiSAR is a volunteer organization that assists the New Hampshire Fish and Game Department with woodland search and rescue missions in the Pemigewasset Wilderness.
Adaptive Sports Partners of the North Country
Adaptive Sports Partners strive to create a community where everyone can experience and thrive at sport, recreation, and adventure. ASPNC has programs in all four seasons and empowers individuals with disabilities through adventure.
Since our founding in 2019, we've adopted three sections of trail in New Hampshire through the AMC. Trail adoption includes seasonal trail maintenance, cleanups, and trail reports.
