I used this top in cold and moderate temps and it kept me warm but not hot or chilled .Perfect as a layer without bulk . I love it , in fact I have purchased a few more as gifts .

Love the gear and the place it’s made!

The 120 hoodie exceeded my expectations. It's very soft and so light I forget I even have it on. And in cool, fall weather I only need a t-shirt underneath it unless it's windy, in which case I just put a shell over it. It looks very good on me because it's cut very well with no bagginess. And great that it's made here in the U.S. Five bright stars for the Alpha Direct 120 hoodie!

The Huntington Hardshell jacket is a very versatile and comfortable daily jacket for me. The build quality is excellent and it’s comfortable to wear. I’ve taken it on a few fall hikes in the White Mountains and it was perfect for the conditions. I went with one size up so I could layer. I highly recommend this jacket.

The reason we were visiting from California was family and Fall colors. We knew nothing about handcrafted, mountain gear made right in the same space as Burgeon’s retail store. It is vanishingly rare to have such a business. Being a longtime heliskier, I value high quality cold weather wear. As a touring motorcyclist, I know of only one company doing what you are - Aerostich of Duluth MN. Keep it up. You are doing something very special.

Got this for my wife for upcoming hiking trip. She loves everything about it. Says its super lightweight and feels good on the skin.

Spent 6 days hiking in Colorado and NM. Autumn cold, rain and snow. Burgeon fleece was perfect. Kept me warm under a windbreaker for the hikes and toasty in my sleeping bag. After six days no stink! Threw it in the washer and hung it up to dry. I’m male 5’ 11” 155 lbs. Small was nice fit. A little snug. Medium would be a loose fit. Recommend.

We stopped into the Lincoln NH store while on vacation. Picked out a design for a t-shirt and it was made on the spot. Guy behind the counter was really nice. I love the shirt. It’s one of the softest, most comfortable shirts I own. Would highly recommend this store.

This is the first item I've ordered from Burgeon, and I couldn't be happier. It's also my first alpha, and I immediately tried it out on a 6 day backpacking trip in Oregon, so boy did I test it out! I used it as a sleeping layer inside my bag, an in-camp warm midlayer, and under rain gear in an unexpected snowstorm - it performed great for all these uses. I ordered up a size to XL when I usually wear an L in most brands, just to have a little more room - any why not when it's so light? I also really love how well it integrates with pieces I already own. It's a match made in heaven under my Patagonia Houdini jacket, I also wore it under a puffy and over an icebreaker merino tee when things got really chilly. Love that it's from NH and the White Mountains, where I learned to stay warm and dry in tough conditions!

I took my fleece on a 6-night backpack into the High Sierra above 10,000’, and it added the midlayer support I needed for early fall without adding bulk and weight to my pack. Fit perfect underneath a rain jacket or puffy, and packed down easily when not in use. Also used while sleeping at night when temps dropped below freezing.
