This past week, Burgeon Outdoor returned to the Willey Range Trail for a day of hard work, stewardship, and community. Joined by several generous volunteers, our founder Rudy Glocker spent the day clearing drainages, brushing back overgrowth, and improving treadway along one of the White Mountains’ most iconic ridgelines.
This work is part of Burgeon's ongoing commitment to the Appalachian Mountain Club’s Adopt-a-Trail Program. Through this program, Burgeon has officially adopted 10 miles of trail in the White Mountain National Forest, a small way for us to give back to the land that inspires and challenges us every day.
This summer, we’ve scheduled 6 more trail maintenance days—and 5 of them still have volunteer spots open. Whether you’re a seasoned trail worker or brand new to trail work, we’d love to have you join us. No experience is necessary—just a willingness to get your hands dirty, give back, and spend a rewarding day outside.
