Warm, comfortable and sporty.
Just spent a month in Colorado skiing, mtn bike riding and AT skinning. The jacket was extremely functional and fit perfectly. I found it very functional particularly for alpine skinning where I was able to properly control my body temperature. Awesome product and love that its made in the USA in New Hampshire.
Overall - well made, warm and functional jacket/layer. Would suggest adding an adjustable drawstring around the hem of the jacket and pit-zips to create ventilation to prevent overheating. This would have raised my rating from 4 to 5 stars.
Appreciate that Burgeon is based in Lincoln, NH and product is manufactured in the USA.
Have used the Washington backcountry skiing several times. Breathability is great on the uphill - I stay dry even in warmer days. Once I get to the too, no need to put on a hard shell. Great for the ride down. Skin up, ski down, repeat - outstanding product!
Hi, first, my name is Chris. I learned of your products from my mountain guide, Alex. Great dude. I like the Washington Outer Layer. It fits perfectly on top but the bottom is too baggy with no ability to cinch it? Im curious as to your thoughts on why it was made that way. Too baggy around the waist for skinny guys like me.
