Great piece of gear

This is a great outer layer. I took it up to the Osceolas the week before Christmas, and it kept the wind out while keeping me warm. It functioned very well with a base and mid layer to handle moisture and body heat. The integrated balaclava is a super cool feature.

The materials are pretty neat, and it’s not a bulky garment at all, despite its capability. It’s cut well and all the seams and closures are very nicely done. It looks awesome. I love it and wear it everywhere. The fact that it is 100% USA made, from the materials to the cut & sew, is rare and awesome.

Great material and style

Only reason it’s not a 5 is the bottom does not close. Add a way to tighten it up with a string and keep the air out.

Great layer for mobility and warmth

This is a well-made layer. Pockets are good and the chest pocket holds larger phones. Female version has deferent chest pocket layout that my wife did not like, so she didn’t get it. It’s a warm jacket and it breaths well, which is important for me since I heat up fast and always run hot. But, it gives in the wind pretty easily. You’ll want your shell with you if you anticipate rain or wind. The fit for me (6’, 200 lbs) is perfect. And the hood is the best designed I’ve worn. It doesn’t hang down over my eyes. The hood has no adjustment. Build quality, like all Burgeon clothing, is top notch!

Great, versatile jacket

It definitely doesn’t seem as warm as I was expecting but I also haven’t worn it layered up. That’s mostly because this winter hasn’t been very cold. Love the fit and style. The workmanship is of the highest quality as expected from Burgeon. I’ve only worn it through some slight drizzle and it has held up well. I look forward to wearing it more, through at least three seasons and utilizing its versatility and see where it takes me.

Living up to its reputation

Love the Washington. Great look… comfortable… and definitely keeps the wind out and the temperature warm.
