Lincoln, NH -- the heart of the White Mountains:
On Saturday, March 7th Burgeon hosted its first Community Night. Over 60 people attended and several organizations, such as The Notch Hostel, New England Disabled Sports, Pemi Search and Rescue, Mooney Mountain Guides, North Ridge Mountain Guides, Loon Freestyle Team, Adult Skating, and the White Mountains Trail Collective were in attendance, as well as White Mountain notables such as Finding Philip and Alexandra Roberts.
Food was supplied by The Peaked Moon bakery and was widely heralded as scrumdiddlyumptious! The format included both time to meet and mingle, a short speaker series as well as a raffle and specials on Burgeon apparel.
The speaker series highlighted the importance of community as well as how different organizations work to improve the outdoor experience of both natives and visitors to the White Mountains.
Burgeon’s mission to help mountain communities flourish. We hope to host more events like this so that members of the community can meet and learn more about the great people and organizations in the White Mountains.
Burgeon would like to thank all those attended, as well as Peaked Moon Bakery for an excellent job on the food! Also thank you to all the attendees who completed our survey. A big thank you as well to all of you who brought friends and family with you to the event. It was a great evening. We thank you!
Please see photos from this fun evening and hope to see you at the next one! Save the date of May 23rd in your calendar for our next big event . . .
