Burgeon Donates $1500 to New England Disabled Sports

Lincoln, NH, the heart of the White Mountains:  Thank you to all who supported New England Disabled Sports ("NEDS") with purchases during our holiday promotion.  Your purchases will help put 30 kids on skis this winter! Each child will get a private lesson with a coach and all required equipment (and lift ticket!).

On Friday, January 24th, Burgeon was able to see your generosity in action as a dozen kids hit the slopes at Loon Mountain here in Lincoln, NH.  The air was cool, the snow was sublime and the kids were excited! We loved seeing their enthusiasm for the outdoors!

We are proud to partner with NEDS as they represent one of the core values of Burgeon -- investing in the social fabric of outdoor communities.  At Burgeon we believe a strong social fabric is critical for every community. We also believe everyone needs to get outside and NEDS brings together volunteer coaches with children and families in need to give participants amazing outdoor experiences.  Three cheers for their amazing staff and coaches who make it happen!

Today we saw a dozen kids on the slopes, but other activities are available such as cross country skiing, snowshoeing, rock climbing, cycling, kayaking, golf, archery and more!  Please see nedisabledsports.org/ for more information.
