My wife has been hesitant to get an Alpha 90. This is one of the few brands that have a standard hood, my wife hates that suffocating feeling of my alpha 90, but genuinely loves this one.

This was a gift for our son who bike packs often in Colorado. He loves it. Said it’s thin yet warm for layering and shedding if need be while riding. Perfect fit and gift. Highly recommended.

Layer is light but warm and definitely breathes. I’d say sizing is slightly smaller but mine fits well but size up if on the edge

Extremely versatile mid layer. I bought for cycling in colder weather as part of a layering system. Dedicated pure polartec can be used in different combinations, much more useful than when built in to clothing as insulation or as a composite. Moisture wicking is amazing. I've used in conjunction with a mesh base layer and thin rain shell down to 21F comfortably (while active).

The Highlander is an old fashioned hooded sweatshirt made of fleece. Love the quality fabric, warm and comfy against the skin, but it’s scary it has to sell for nearly $100 to cover Made in USA costs and a profit margin. One complaint: scratchy little drawstring patches. One thought: how about moving the kangaroo pocket to the chest? Different, easier to reach when wearing outer layer, and especially with a harness, or anything with a waist belt.

I get it, we are trying to save the environment, but so what? When I am buying a $100+/- garment and you charge me another $2.39 to offset 97.16 lbs. of carbon, what is the significance? If you want to be sustainable, then be sustainable and figure it into the price. I find the extra charge so you can be sustainable insulting.

The Alpha 90 is a great hoodie, not too hot and not too cold, an amazing light weight and packable hoodie to keep space and weight to a minimun in the pack. Its a nice mid layer

I like supporting local businesses. The hoody was thinner than I expected so I’ve just returned it. It’s well made, I was hoping for a bit heavier fleece.

Great color, great fit and fabric. Took it traveling, washed in a sink and it dried well and quickly. Highly recommend.

I plan my work days around trying to work from home purely to be able to wear my Burgeon hoodie. It's like an ongoing hug and the most comfortable thing I own. It is also fast becoming my most frequent go to gift (which I think of as delivery of infinite hugs). I can't live without it, and to ensure I always have one handy, I have bought a second for those days one hoodie is in the laundry basket.

Great fit and very soft micro grid fleece. Better than Melanzana and no appointment needed.

I now have 2 of your baselayers and one midlayer. My husband has the same as well as 1-2 others-with hoods. We love them all and prefer to support local!

I have a few highlander hoodies, so when the full zip came out and in red, I was sold. Absolutely love the concept behind burgeon the clothes are quality and warmth. Quality for a good price. Made is the USA.
