Designed in collaboration with Burgeon Athlete Philip Carcia. Philip has the FKT (Fastest Known Time) for the White Mountains 4000-footer Grid - summitting all 48 4000-footers each calendar month of the year. He completed this grueling feat in ten months and 15 days.
The Grid, however, was not the end of Philip's journey, but just a waypoint. Over the course of 100 days last summer and fall, Philip hiked every trail in the White Mountains Guide. This summer he is out to set the FKT for this feat.
Environmentally friendly organic cotton and recycled polyester combine to give you a comfy fabric with strong wicking properties. Great for a walk on the woods, a day in the yard or around town as you visit friends. Made in the USA!

Sustainability:
Our 4000 footer t-shirt is Made in the USA. US domestic production ensures compliance with high environmental standards, a cleaner electrical grid, more efficient transportation infrastructure, as well as reducing the overall distance (and carbon footprint required) to move through a global supply chain. It is made of 50% organic cotton and 50% recycled polyester.
5% for our Community and Environment:
5% of the purchase price of this product will benefit our community and environmental efforts. These efforts include trail maintenance, working with local non-profits and organizations, as well as our carbon mitigation efforts.
In the past year, we have maintained three trails (Old Bridle Path, Willey Range Trial, Pink Link) in the White Mountains in partnership with the Appalachian Mountain Club, donated time, resources, and money to organizations such as New England Disabled Sports, Pemi Search and Rescue, Lakes Region Search and Rescue, the Linwood Rotary, Linwood Ambulance, as well as local community centers in Lincoln, Franconia, and Lisbon, NH.
Worker Standards:
Burgeon follows all federal, state, and local laws and regulations that protect our employees. Burgeon production team members also enjoy flexible working hours, paid time off (vacation, sick, safe), and all ten federal holidays. Burgeon covers 100% of healthcare premiums for all employees who average 30+ hours per week. All Burgeon production team members are eligible for a monthly bonus based on our sales. 1% of the sales of the 4000 footer t-shirt go directly into this bonus pool.
