Sustainability:
Our 4000 footer t-shirt is Made in the USA. US domestic production ensures compliance with high environmental standards, a cleaner electrical grid, more efficient transportation infrastructure, as well as reducing the overall distance (and carbon footprint required) to move through a global supply chain. It is made of 50% organic cotton and 50% recycled polyester.
5% for our Community and Environment:
5% of the purchase price of the Made for your Mountains t-shirt will benefit our community and environmental efforts. These efforts include trail maintenance, working with local non-profits and organizations, as well as our carbon mitigation efforts.
In the past year, we have maintained three trails (Old Bridle Path, Willey Range Trial, Pink Link) in the White Mountains in partnership with the Appalachian Mountain Club, donated time, resources, and money to organizations such as New England Disabled Sports, Pemi Search and Rescue, Lakes Region Search and Rescue, the Linwood Rotary, Linwood Ambulance, as well as local community centers in Lincoln, Franconia, and Lisbon, NH.
Worker Standards:
Burgeon follows all federal, state, and local laws and regulations that protect our employees. Burgeon production team members also enjoy flexible working hours, paid time off (vacation, sick, safe), and all ten federal holidays. Burgeon covers 100% of healthcare premiums for all employees who average 30+ hours per week. All Burgeon production team members are eligible for a monthly bonus based on our sales. 1% of the sales of the Made for your Mountains t-shirt go directly into this bonus pool.

Bought 2 t shirts which were a little small. I emailed customer service and Nick responded right away and was personable and professional in sending me 2 shirts in a bigger size along with a return label. It was nice to have a personal touch speaking with an actual person instead of some big box store where you’re just a number and no one really cares about you. Beside their high quality clothes, I’ll be buying from them again because I like what their company stands for. Keep up the good work.

Very nice fabric - soft and just the right weight to be light yet substantial enough to feel like it will last. Runs a little snug. Both garments i ordered were smaller than the size chart indicates. Go a size up. Light green is a nice color that is not found everywhere. Love that the fabric is part organic, part recycled and the shirt is made in NH. Finally, as a heads up - there is a B (Burgeon logo) printed in black on the back just below the neckline, which is fine with me but maybe not everyone would like that.

I love my Burgeon t-shirt. It is the most comfortable t-shirt I own. I bought it because I love what the company is doing in the White Mountains -- you can actually see their staff make the products they sell right before your eyes -- super cool. It is now my go to T - so, so comfortable.
Loved the tshirts. They are very nice! I would recommend buying one size up as they shrink down once washed and dried.
